Four grants were awarded on the 2016. 1) Guillaume Boucher : Anthropology at the Université de Montréal. 2) Christopher Emory-Moore : Religious Studies at the University of Waterloo. 3) Justin Stein : Department for the Study of Religion and the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies, University of Toronto. 4) Wing Yu Alice Chan : Education in the Integrated Studies in Education program at McGill University.
