The 2022 CCSR Research and Travel Scholarships

The CCSR now accepts applications for the 2022 Research and Travel Scholarships.

The scholarships are open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and students on a study permit studying in Canada. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be a member of one of the constituent societies of the CCSR and either:

  • enrolled in a doctoral program and be studying an aspect of religious studies or theology, have successfully completed their comprehensive or major/minor field examinations, and have a thesis proposal that has been approved by their department or doctoral committee; or
  • have completed an earned PhD in the field of religious studies or theology, but do not have stable work in the field of their doctoral research.
