The CCSR now accepts applications for the 2022 Research and Travel Scholarships.
The scholarships are open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and students on a study permit studying in Canada. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be a member of one of the constituent societies of the CCSR and either:
- enrolled in a doctoral program and be studying an aspect of religious studies or theology, have successfully completed their comprehensive or major/minor field examinations, and have a thesis proposal that has been approved by their department or doctoral committee; or
- have completed an earned PhD in the field of religious studies or theology, but do not have stable work in the field of their doctoral research.
